The Walkmen are releasing their new album Lisbon on September 14th. This is great news for two reasons. First, because they make really good albums. Second, for whatever reason, they are one of the few great bands that continues to come back for more and more Indianapolis. They'll be playing The Vogue on October 12th. Normally I'll see a band once and then just enjoy their music over the stereo from then on, but this will be my third time seeing The Walkmen in Indy. Even though my musical taste has changed drastically since I first saw them open for the Strokes in 2004, I still can't get enough of The Walkmen.
